Attendees will learn how to construct a solid recipe across various different brewing methods as well as some essential techniques to make brewing coffee by hand a fun and easy part of your daily ritual.

Hands on practice will be coupled with tasting to understand how different variables ultimately affect the flavor of brewed coffee.

This class will focus on the coffee supply chain and how each step, starting with the farmer and ending with the barista, ultimately shapes the flavor profile of a particular coffee. Participants will taste coffees from different regions of the coffee growing world in order to gain a basic understanding of the immense variety of flavors present in coffee.
